Managing Phone Numbers Capabilities
Overview
Before the Microsoft Teams Connector 2.13.0 release, managing the capabilities associated with uploaded phone numbers required users to be deleted first to remove the configuration for the initially assigned capabilities. Phone numbers must then be re-uploaded with the new capabilities. This procedure has been improved in the latest release.

Changing Capabilities for Phone Numbers
Note: For Enterprises that need to add capabilities (SMS, Voice, or Fax) to existing phone numbers, contact your provider (Reseller) to update the capabilities of your phone numbers.
The Master Reseller or Reseller must do the following actions to change the phone number capabilities:
- Go to Enterprise and select Phone Numbers.
- The Manage Phone Number page is displayed.
- Select the relevant phone number and click ... under the Action column.
- The Manage option displays.
- Click the Manage option.
- The Manage Phone Number page displays.
- Change other fields (for example, Voice Carrier Name and SMS Carrier Profile) if necessary.
- In the `Capabilities field, define the new capabilities to be added.
Note: The system does not allow the removal of the currently configured services. Only adding of new capabilities is allowed.
- Click Save.
A pop-up message is displayed.
- Confirm the click Save Settings.
Result: A success message is displayed, and the phone number capabilities are updated.

Phone Number | Use to enter a phone number in E.164 format. |
Voice Carrier Name | Used to enter a voice carrier name. |
SMS Carrier Profile | Used to enter or set an SMS carrier profile name. |
Enterprise | Displays the relevant enterprise in the drop-down list. |
Capabilities | Used to select the capabilities to be assigned to the DID number. |
